LightStim delivers light energy in a similar way plants absorb light energy from the sun. Each LightStim device uses different wavelengths, or colors of light. LightStim for Acne uses blue light to destroy acne-causing bacteria, and red light to help soothe and calm the skin. This helps clear existing breakouts in order to give you visibly improved, healthy-looking skin.
Step One
Place the Light gently touching your skin and hold it in place. The Light will beep after 3 minutes.
If desired, close the eye nearest to the Light.
Step Two
Move the Light to a new area.
Repeat until you've treated all desired areas. Use your Light no more than 3 minutes per area, once daily.
EXPERT TIP:
On regular skin care regimen days, properly cleanse, dry the skin, and place the Light gently touching your skin, holding it in place. The Light will beep after 3 minutes, then move the Light to a new area.
On masking days - properly cleanse, tone, and apply your preferred mask for 15-20 mins, remove the mask with cool water, dry the skin, and place the Light gently touching your skin, holding it in place. The Light will beep after 3 minutes, then move the Light to a new area.

Can I use my existing skin care products?
Yes, there is no need to change your skin care regimen. We suggest using the Acne light on clean, dry skin. However, products with benzoyl peroxide, Vitamin A, or retinol (including Retin-A) should only be applied after using your Light.
How does the Treatment Timer work?
Your Light will beep every 3-minutes. To silence the Treatment Timer, hold the power switch down for 4-seconds until you hear the Light beep twice. To reactivate the timer, unplug the Light then plug it back in.
